Day 33- more bloody V8's

Today we spent with the Italians again. In the morning Teo and I visited with Pino. He showed us the CAD design software he uses for parts replication and modelling. Bloody fantastic. Pine has recreated the V8 and many other bikes in CAD. He is also a remarkable engineer. He showed us the stuff he makes from scratch.

This is a working 4 stroke radial engine he designed and built from nothing.

These are carbs he manufactured.

The RH piston is from the 500 V8. The left hand piston is from a 350 V8 that was built but never made it into a frame. Pino has the block.
This afternoon we went for lunch at Angelo's house. He rides the V8 for Pino. His dad was Ferdinando Beenizotti. A famous Guzzi factory rider from the 50's. Sadly most of his dad's riding mates were killed during that time

My head is spinning

This is the amazing 1 off 500 4 cylinder compressorio. The most amazing thing I have ever seen.
