Tonight we are in a small village and we are staying in a B&B above a book shop cafe. We went to the pub for dinner. I had a local pale ale that was to die for. It was all to cute for words. It's way to wet to camp. We need each night somewhere dry and warm to get our riding gear dry again. Gertie is awesome and the wet and slippery roads.

Day 10- Glasgow to Wigtown
Bad weather was the main feature of today's ride. We planned to sculk our way down the west coast but were stopped for the second time on this trip by a road closure due to s bad accident. The detour took us well inland and into high country bad weather. The roads were wet and unforgiving. The visability was non existent and riding was very challenging. When we finally made it back to the coast we stopped for a break in a beautiful seaside village and had a classic lunchtime experience in s little cafe. I had fish tea. That consisted of a fish cake chips and a monster pot of tea. As we sat in the little cafe a small group of old ladies beside us just started singing. It was beautiful. They just stopped and started as they felt the urge. Just beautiful ballads and I guess Gallic songs.
