Yes Ol we called into Farina. We procrastinated about staying there but ultimately moved on to Beltana. In the end we did the right thing. Beltana and Farina have a lot n common. Locals are revitalising the townships. But the country around Beltana is just breathtaking. Some people bought the pub and have reopened it. It’s a credit to the community.
I think Robins comments are fair. I have two major problems nder the truck. The hoist motor has completely broken off, and the transfer case is leaking gear oil. I have strapped the hoist motor into position and will likely get me home. The transfer case is a worry. I’m thinking about taking it to a truck repair place in broken hill. It’s copping an absolute hiding on these roads. Parachilna gorge was the icing on the cake.
